No body likes a boring presenter!

‘I love taking what is potentially a complex issue and breaking it down into digestible chunks of useable knowledge! And having fun on the way!’

As a speaker and workshop facilitator, I present on a variety of topics involved in the human experience including communication, self-care, grief and resilience, the list goes on.

Drawing on 30+ years working as a health and wellbeing professional I’ve learned to interpret complex health theory and wellbeing trends and communicate them as interesting, actionable insights.

Using raw honesty, humour and compassion, even the most challenging issues can be openly tackled.

Whether it’s to a group of 8 or a room of 1000, I take pride in creating a safe and relaxed atmosphere where the audience become active participants and engages in the presentation.

My goal with any speaking engagement is to leave people with learning they can implement in their own life, rather than simply head knowledge or a few notes on a piece of paper.

In truth I look for the most rigid, reluctant person in the room and work to gain their ‘buy-in’ on the chosen topic. I love seeing the light come on in people’s eyes when once-challenging subject matter finally clicks with them. When there’s hundreds of people in a room but you can make one person realise their experience isn’t in isolation and they’re not alone, that their experience is part of being human. This is what makes presenting so valuable and rewarding.

Presentations run from 40 minutes to 90 minutes and can be linked together to form workshops.

Please contact me to discuss a topic that you would like covered. I’m happy to work with your budget, (especially if you are a non-for-profit organisation).
